This picture is of Woodruff Park, located on the Georgia State campus. Although this is park space open to the public, the right to publicly protest is limited. the park is officially closed from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am, and the amount of people that can gather together as a group is limited to 75 persons, with permits required to hold events. In the Reading Room section of the park load music and disruptions are prohibited.

This picture shows off the street parking in front of the Sun Trust bank building on the Georgia State campus. Here parking is convenient because it is right in front of the bank building and across from Woodruff Park. Although it is also an inconvenience because you are charged $1.00/30 minutes. This is an example of the state capitalizing off needed car parking services. Money paid to park and money paid for parking tickets go to the state.
Simone, you've shown two kinds of conventional parking areas, and a park, but none of these really answers the assignment. You need to show how the spatial logic of the car has altered the built environment, or a thirdspace.
