These pictures are of the Art Foundry condominium complex on 17th Street in Atlantic Station, which was formerly a steel mill, and that is why the word "foundry" appears in the name. It is set in an urban environment, surrounded by other similar complexes offering similar amenities. There are very few renters in this complex, as many of the occupants are owners. As such, there is a great deal of landscaping and amenities, like dry cleaning services, a full gym and spa, which is offered at a discount to residents, a pool, and package pick-up. The entire location is secured using electromagnetic door locks at both entrances to the complex and access points to the buildings. Security is a major selling point, and hefty fines of up to $500 can be levied against anyone who lets in a person he or she does not know. A large covered parking deck with assigned spaces is incorporated into the building's design. Many of the occupants are young professionals, and some older residents who have moved back into the city in an effort to avoid the daily commute.
