Assignment2-Hanieh

the coming of automobile to the daily life of people has changed the face of the cities. Among these changes, many industries and bussinesses have tried to adapt themselves to this automobile-included lifestyle. For example, many restaurants introduced the so-called "drive-thru" services. This service makes the process of ordering more convenient for customers because they no longer need to leave their cars in order to get their food. Also, it is more consistent with todays fast pace of life. These pictures show the drive-thru way of two restaurants in Howell mill Rd, Buckhead area.

  1. This is just one kind of example of a car-friendly convenience. The assignment asks for three examples of places that show how the city has been adapted to fit the needs of drivers. What are two other ways or places in which we see how Atlanta has been fitted to the specific spatial logic of the car?
